The GTBASE base plate is designed to sit between the ceiling and the base of the GT10 and GT10RF alarms, and cover any nasty screw holes or paint rings left behind from where a previous smoke alarm us to be.
With a diameter of 155mm it is wide enough to ensure coverage from any previous alarm that had been installed, and is neutral toned to blend in with popular ceiling paint colour tones.
